In our Wills and Probate Department we offer a thorough and professional will writing service which includes explaining to clients the need for estate planning and the implications of inheritance tax. We look beyond the obvious to ensure your estate is distributed exactly in accordance with your wishes and place strong emphasis on the importance of making a thorough and considered will - we do not regard it as a five minute exercise.

If you wish we will act as executors either solely or with a family member (there is no charge for accepting the appointment). We endeavour to wind up an estate, even in the case of a death intestate, as quickly and efficiently as possible with the minimum burden to family and other beneficiaries. This includes negotiating with the Inland Revenue. We have a particular expertise in dealing with estates with assets in other jurisdictions. Our fees on probate matters are based on Law Society guidelines.
